‘OVERWRITE DATA’ message will appear if this monitor has been read at least once before
in the software.
Select ‘No’ if you want to add new monitor data to the existing one. This is the normal
case.
Select ‘Yes’ if you wish to erase all existing data for this patient and to replace it with the
content of the monitor.

4. Enter patient data
Two fields are important in the left
part of ‘Patient data’:
Timezone: it determines in which
time zone the MEMS was used. All
times recorded in the MEMS will be
converted to this time zone. The
default value can be set in the
configuration of the application
Patient number: it allows to link
the monitor data to a patient. The
software will not allow to use twice
the same patient number.
All other fields are only descriptive
and not mandatory.

5. Enter drug and regimen
PowerView calculates and displays compliance data for
a specific period of time. As a default value, PowerView
suggests the period from the first event recorded in the
monitor to the last one. You can overwrite the begin and
the end of the observation period. The observation
period can be changed at any time since all data are
always transferred from the monitor during the reading.
You can select a drug from the list. If it doesn’t exist, you
can define a new one by clicking on ‘…’, entering a name
and selecting ‘Define a new drug name’.
Duration of action is only important for some results like
‘Uncovered hours’ and ‘Drug holidays’. If you are unsure,
leave it on ‘<default>’
The regimen is very important. In most of the cases you
can leave it on ‘Fixed’ and select how many times a day
the patient is supposed to take his medicine.
Quantity per dose is only descriptive.
