V.O. Sukhomlynsky National University of Mykolayiv in 2013 celebrated its 100 th anniversary. It has prepared about 60 thousand specialists since it was founded.

Many of them became famous professionals, outstanding scientists, successful managers in public administrations. The University provides training for 9000 students in 14 fields of knowledge and 33 majors.

Scientific-pedagogical staff and the students are mastering positive developments, defining the objectives and complex tasks of the work which reveals new technological means of its fulfillment and guarantees the desired achievements. The University carries out education for international student and training for further entering other educational establishments.

The University signed Magna Charta Universitatum (Bologna, 2008) and is a member of European Association of Science and Education (EASE)

Foreign Philology Faculty

Faculty is dedicated to offering students the opportunity to study two or more foreign languages, cultures, past and present times history of the languages they master.

Department was opened in 1998. Faculty are members of TESOL, participate in different scholar programmes organized by the British Council, Fulbright Programme, DAAD, Göthe Institute, Umeå Universitet and other programmes.

Faculty enhances students to be open to new knowledge and ideas in science as well as in their future profession. Faculty conduct research work in the field of philology and education.
