What is the purpose of the 2014 Standards?
• Set out clear expectations of effective practice in
education and training
• Enable teachers to identify areas for their own
professional development
• Support initial teacher education
• Provide a national reference point that organisations
can use to support the development of their staff

 Currently 83% of ASB learners progress to further
learning.
 Procedures - Learner Detail Amendment (LDA)
 Improvement – Increase the progression of learners
from CL to ASB Tutor role in IAG
 progression template
 These are currently being developed for Maths, English ,
ICT and Child-care provision.

The service will be working incrementally through
transferring the CIS stuff on Moodle now into the new
“empty belly” templates.
