ALL ABOUT THE SPANISH COLONY !
Do you know when the Spanish Colony was made ?I do. The colony was made in
1535. Do you also know that Portugal were the ones who ruled the colony. Last
did you know that Spain is were the colony is located! Did you also know that
the capital is Mexico City.
THE SPANISH COLONY!

DO YOU KNOW THE SPANISH GOT THERE FOOD? I DO. The Spanish forced
the native Americans into slavery and growing crops and doing all their farming for
them. And did you know that they had fisherman to catch fish for them. Did you
also know that the natives didn’t get paid to work. They often raised cattle and
sheep .

Do you know what kind of dwellings<homes> they had? There are many names for
their homes, some of them are called presidios, missionaries, missions, and
haciendas! They also used borderlands to protect their homes. Until they made
there first permanent European settlement in what is now the United State.

Do you know the jobs the natives had to do? They had to go mining for gold and
silver. They didn’t get money or they got some from the gold and silver they mined.

Here is some extra information. Did you also know that the
European countries were competing with each other to win control
of as much of the Americans as possible. but usually no one paid
attention to anyone else's rights or claims. Did you also know that
when Spain claimed they land they didn’t know that doing this isn’t
controlling it. Those were some extra facts. Also when more and
more natives died the Spanish colony began capturing Africans.
Some native American tribes learned how to tame horses for use in
hunting and in war. Some learned to raise sheep and to use their
wool to make clothing.
