Calibration, SE&CS Ltd go onto site in mobile workshops order to expedite audits for it’s clients. The problem being where tools are in daily use their accuracy drifts and have been altered over a number of years. Accuracy is checked against UKAS verified and calibrated equipment and existing equipment is compared and issued a certificate indicating deviation and variation from the standard device. Small adjustments and repairs are made on site and records amended.

** # Electrical Installation Testing , SE&CS Ltd go onto site in order to expedite the test and audit for it’s clients. The installations are tested and results recorded in accordance with BS 7671 and the condition of the installation is surveyed and noted in the engineers report for damage and miss-use. For the purposes of costing and quoting a general site wide survey is undertaken by SE&CS Ltd to determine the extent audit prior to quotation so that the clients is appraised of the expected cost at the outset.

SE&CS Ltd are able to undertake a wide variety of surveys and audits as required by current legislation with regards to buildings, safety and access. Our consultants are highly trained, professional and qualified.

*** Electrical installation, SE&CS Ltd were asked to go to site in order to expedite a problem for major client, the basic problem being that the electrical distribution had been altered over a number of years and existing drawings had not been amended by Electrical Contractors, SE&CS supplied the engineering & testing labour to the client on a day work basis. The site was completed surveyed and tested with CAD drawings, test certificates and distribution schedules were produced together with a condition report and photographic record of existing installation on a CD-ROM.

Electrical Testing & Certification as per the Electrical at Work Act 1989 The Act requires that you should periodically test the mains electrical installation and portable appliances on a regular basis.

TESTING OF DISTRIBUTION BOARDS, SMALL POWER CIRCUITS & LIGHTING.

The test and certification will be carried out on an independent audit basis, providing you with certification and an Engineers report indicating any remedial rectification needed which may form the basis of tendering for these repairs.

The report and certification we provide will be fully compliant with the requirements of the IEE 16 th Addition and amendments and BS 7671 Pt 2.

TESTING OF PORTABLE APPLIANCES

This to be performed on an annual basis. All appliances shall be tested and issued with an identity label. The results shall be tabulated and shall be made available in a report format after each visit.

All of our Electricians are fully qualified to the J. I.

B. and City & Guilds approved standards.

All of our inspections and tests can be carried out on Commercial, Industrial and Domestic premises.

ON-SITE ELECTRICAL SERVICES INCLUDE Portable Appliance Testing

 All equipment labelled with ID. No. & re-test date  Plugs & cables repaired on-site  All faults shall be indicated & where possible repaired on-site.

  A full inventory completed on-site All of the above is provided within the pricing structure charged by our Qualified Engineers.

No call-out charges or minimum fee  Secure disposal of redundant, obsolete and/or faulty equipment  Notification of next visit

Periodic Electrical Installation Testing

      Certification of Building and/or Premises Minor faults and defects repaired on the same day All Testing & repairs carried out in accordance with the requirements of I.E.E. 16 Amendments and BS 7671 Pt 2.

Recommended course of action for all faults, defects and omissions.

Price charged on a per item basis or on daily rate. There are no call-out charges.

 Check all Manual Call Points to ensure that the alarm activates correctly  All Smoke Detector shall be checked and randomly tested  Any defects shall be carried out at competitive prices  After each visit, all information shall be recorded in the Log Book provided and shall include an Engineers Report   No call-out charges or minimum fee Notification of next visit

repaired, new, lost, damaged, non-conformed & removed from system All of the equipment which fails shall have a non-conformance certificate raised & shall be labelled accordingly All of this shall be provided on-site, on the same day by our qualified engineers Our service includes more than just the calibration of your equipment, we take good care of you an on-going basis and accordingly we are always on call to resolve any problems you may have.
