• Dec 1998 - first academy at NREN (RoEduNet,
www.roedu.net)
• RoEduNet technical staff: graduates of CNAP and they are
instructors for CCNA
• Topology of RoEduNet shows that the 7 nodes match the 7
Regional Cisco academies.
• Main role of CNAP at RoEduNet:
- provide training for staff
- provide training for selected university students (computer
science, electronics, telecommunication departments, etc..
- provide training to external audience (SPs, public sector,
etc)
- source of funding

pioneers of CNAP in Poland.
• Wide participation right from the start
• Currently 7 Regionals are directly placed
in academic MAN centers

• Pilot project „IP telephony for academia"
