Borrowing Privileges

All new and continuing residents are eligible
for library cards.
 A library card or "library-activated" UCIMC
badge must be presented in order to check
out library materials.
 Loan periods:
• books – 90 days
• journals – 1 wk
• CD/Audiocassettes -- 1 wk
• DVD/Videocassettes -- 1 wk
• Laptops – 24 hrs/weekends
• PDAs – 3 days

Residents are assigned a UCInetID after they are given an
employee ID and entered into the Payroll Personnel System
