 Using PLUProV14 for data collection and
manipulation is faster than ever!
 No longer does the customer have to drag
product to the cash register or back office for
entry or price changing. Simply scan the item at
the shelf with the handheld, enter the information
for a new item or change information for an
existing item, move on to the next item. It’s that
SIMPLE!

SIMPLICITY
 Once data has been modified on the handheld it can
now be wirelessly transferred to cash register. Once
all the setup is completed this is a simple 2 step
process:
1. Start the PLUProV14 Desktop Utility & V7 Polling
(some setup is required for V7 to sync data to ECR
automatically)
2. Start the hot sync process on the handheld. Once
the hot sync process has completed on the handheld
you may continue modifying more items.
That’s all there is to it!

 With PLUProV14 and the IDV-1500 your
PLU file is at your finger tips. Scan items at
the shelf to verify correct pricing, tax
status, food stamp status perform physical
inventory and much more. Make changes
on the handheld, perform the steps to
transfer to PC Poll and register and your
done!

SPEED
 Performing data collection and manipulation tasks has
never been easier AND FASTER! No more dragging
product to the cash register or back office for price
checking, updating or entry. Simply scan, modify or add,
then off to the next item.
 Download and upload speeds have increased a hundred
fold from V12. Wireless connectivity and the new sync
updated items only makes getting new and updated
items to the ECR happen in just minutes. Searching for
items on the MEZ1500 is much faster in V14 using
advanced sorting and search methods than before plus a
400mhz processor. Typical search in a 30,000 PLU file
now takes only a second or two!

CAPACITY
 The IDV-1500 has 64 megabytes of
volatile memory and 128 megabytes
of nonvolatile memory. Plus a 2mb SD
card. This is plenty of storage space
for most databases. A database for
the Sam4S SPS-520F with 64,000
PLU’s is approx 8 megabytes in size.
