Hockey Canada Officiating Program of Excellence The National Hockey League has partnered with Hockey Canada and the Canadian Hockey League to assist in the identification and development of young aspiring officials.
USA Hockey North American Officiating Program of Merit The National Hockey League has partnered with USA Hockey in hosting a week long “prospects” camp for aspiring officials.
From all of this gathered information, we attempt to identify the “#1 draft picks” to fill vacancies on our staff.
Our staff represents 0.11% of the number of active hockey officials in North America.
Therefore, it is imperative that we make every attempt at identifying the most deserving officials for our staff.
