THE MISSION
The primary goal is the development and integration of
Earth Observation (EO) methodologies for studying a wide
spectra of geophysical and environmental processes.
Satellite and
ground-based remote
sensing
In-situ network
and laboratory
measurements
Environmental
modelling
ICT for EO data
interoperability
This approach fits with the main strategic lines of GMES and
GEOSS implementation plan.

IMAA WITHIN THE EO CLUSTER
The role of IMAA within the Basilicata Cluster is to promote:
 international research activities
 training, education and mobility of young reasearchers
 the support to the SMEs
 the participation of Basilicata to the NEREUS network
