Note – Our staff is diligently working to provide
the absolute best learning environment for your
child. As a result, your child’s class schedule is
subject to change prior to the first day of
instruction.




Your assigned locker number and combination
are printed on your student schedule.
Keep your combination secure! Do not share this
with others!
There is a locker support area on each floor
should you need help with your locker.
Most locker mates will not fit inside your locker


Most notebooks are too wide to fit without
jamming the lock.
Nothing may touch the inside lock mechanism or
it will likely jam.


Write your name in INK on the inside cover of
your textbook
Take home unless directed otherwise



Everyone at BMSS is interested in seeing you
succeed.
Do not hesitate to seek assistance with
academics, peer conflicts or any other problems.
We are here to help!

The State of Texas requires that every student be
present 90% of the days the class is offered.
Applying the 90% rule to our block schedule, a
student may not be absent more than four (4) times
per class period per semester. Attendance is taken
every period. Failure to attend school may result in a
student attending Saturday School, being denied
course credit, and the parent/guardian and/or
student being referred to court for violating
compulsory attendance laws.

All students who arrive on campus after 8:45 AM
or leave campus before 4:00 PM MUST report to
the office. A parent must sign the student
in/out. A student returning from an absence
must report directly to the Front Office and bring
a parent or doctor note explaining his/her
absence to be turned in to the office.




Always bring a doctor or parent note the day you
return.
All notes must be turned in within 5 days.
Absences are only excused with a proper note.
Check with you teachers about missed
assignments and notes.


We offer students the ability to make up seat
time through our Saturday School program.
We are flexible with scheduling make up time!



Please review The Student Code of Conduct and
the Student Handbook.
These can be found at www.boerne-isd.net
under the parent tab in the publications section.
We have very high expectations in regard to
student conduct and the learning environment!


You are considered tardy if you are not in your
seat when the bell rings
Consequences for tardies: lunch detention,
