Equity Action Plan
Equity Action Plan
Students of UG & PG courses of both genders of any cast and any area falling
under participating institutes are involved in these activities.
Student are diagnosed through the interaction and the class performance in
academics and as such no diagnostic test involves
Activities under Plan:
Organizing the programs to improve the communication skills of the students
Extra classes are held for students
Organization of finishing school in progress
Campus Interviews are held.
Faculty is attending the training programme improve upon the management
and academic skills.
Scholarships are given to the disadvantaged students

Institute Industry Linkages
The placement cell exists in the institute which assists the students in their
placements
All eligible students as per the company eligibility criteria are allowed to sit in
campus process.
The Institute remains in touch through the alumni to these companies so that
no opportunity is missed of the placement in any of the year. All the students
are allowed this facility as per the eligibility criteria of company. The executives
from the industry visit the institute as the invited speaker which in addition to
give the students an industrial exposure also gives an opportunity to the
institute to discuss the curriculum as per the modern day needs of the
corporates.

Good Governance Program
The Kuruksehtra University has Executive Council (EC) as Governing body
The EC reviews its decision and discuss the follow up action in each next EC meeting
Sub Committees are formed to meet the short & long term objectives and review
the performance.
The Institution in each meeting looks forward to review the role and
responsibilities of different members of governing body, so as to provide good
governance. However the constitution of the governing body is as per the
University Calendar.
