Begin first draft of personal statement Summer holiday Continue with the above so that you start Year 13 with a plan to complete UCAS application before October holiday Sept Begin online application on Induction day 6th September Complete quality first draft personal statement and hand to tutor Early September – first date of receipt of applications Time line and key dates October 15th October – deadline for Medicine, Veterinary and Dentistry and Oxford or Cambridge FCC’s recommended completed applications deadline October ½ term holiday November Apply for student finance???? December FCC late applications deadline early December January 15th January – UCAS deadline for applications February Offers made by universities, choose two (Firm and Insurance) March UCAS extra Deadline for some Art and Design May Confirm firm and insurance (final date dependent on when last offer was made) August Results day, accept university place, enter clearing
