System x Growth Incentive
Member, Advanced, or Premier BPs can receive an incentive payment provided they achieve a
minimum of 85% of their quarterly target. BPs must achieve 25K in 2006 sales or 25K in 2007
previous quarter sales to receive a target. Target represents 15% uplift over same quarter 2006

85% of a quarterly target but do achieve by 12/31/2007 100% of their cumulative 2007 targets.
The recovery equals 70% of the missed quarterly payment at 100%. 85% of the quarterly target
=.5% payment. 100% of target = 1% payment. Over 100% of target = additional .5% on the
amount over 100%. If 85% of target, an additional .5% is paid for 1.5:1 ratio of System x options
+ Storage product sales to System x system sales.
November performance incentive = .25% on November sales if November sales = at least 35%
but less than 42% of the total quarterly target or .75% on November sales if November sales =
at least 42% of the total quarterly target

2007 System x Growth Incentive
System x Growth Incentive Quarterly payment examples
Business Partner has a quarterly sales revenue target of $10 Million
Actual sales of $12 Million with $4.2Million in November
Ratio of options/storage to system sales is 1.5:1
Quarterly incentive payment would be calculated as follows:
$12 Million x 1.0% (Level Two payment)
= $120,000
$2 Million x .5% (Over-achievement bonus)
= 10,000
$12 Million x .5% (Options/storage ratio bonus) = 60,000
$4.2 Million x .75% (November Performance)
= 31,500
Total payment = 221,500
=============================================================
Quarterly sales revenue target of $10 Million
Actual sales of $8.5 Million with $3.5 Million in November
Ratio of options/storage to system sales is 1.2:1
Quarterly incentive payment would be calculated as follows:
$8.5 Million x .5% (Level One payment)
= $ 42,500*
$3.5 million x .25% (November Performance)
=
8,750
Total payment = 51,250
=============================================================
*Premier Partner achieving 100% of cumulative 2007 targets would recover:
70% of (L2 $100,000 - $42,500) = $57,500 x 70% = $40,250
$100,000 = L2 potential payment $42,000 = L1 actual payment @ 85% of target
