• Foundation of the LPE County Varazdin in
December 2010
• The Partnership Agreement has been signed
as statement of the willingness of the
stakeholder to take part in the Partnership in
order to fulfil the commonly discussed and
agreed objectives in the field on HRD and
Employment Policy.
• A management structure has been established
(Statute of LPE)

Role of LPE - ESF absorption
LPE is important in creating an environment to
better access to EU funding:
The management of the EU Funds, requires:
• regional approaches in human resource
development,
• a strategic planning,
• a partnership oriented consultation process
involving all relevant labor market
stakeholders at regional level,
• an adequate absorption capacity
• and an efficient implementation of the
priorities/measures (National OP HRD)
