History of Teignmouth Community Association 1994-2009
1998 Keir Duffin Employed to Manage Community Development. Company & Charity Registration applied for. 2005 KMCA takes over use of *Ice Factory. 2005 Matt Quinn takes over as General Manager. Dec 2006 – Talk Training moves to *Tomorrows Teignmouth Building having outgrown Meadow Centre. Late 2007 Kingsway Meadow Community Association joins with *Eastcliff to become TCA. 2008 Talk Training Franchise with South Devon College. 2009 Youth Inclusion Programme Partnership bid awarded.

1994 Sue Warren starts a Youth Club in the little used Meadow Centre Building. 1998 - TALK Training was created to address the training needs of West Teignmouth – operating from a cupboard in the Meadow Centre. 2006 Talk Training carries out Skills Audit in Teignmouth and Dawlish. Jul 2007 – Becky Tucker takes over as Talk Training Director. September - Will Fitzgerald employed as Chief Executive. Sue Warren takes post as General Manager. Oct 2008 – Five Staff made redundant including Sue Warren – General Manager. Becky Tucker takes over TCA General Manager Duties to co-run Association with Will Fitzgerald. Healthy Hearts and Minds Big Lottery Funded Project. 2 Part-time project staff employed. From September 2007 Will Fitzgerald & Becky Tucker to Jointly Co-ordinate the Development of the Organisation
