

Political Chapeau (Tunis Commitment), a political
declaration; and
the Operational Part (Tunis Agenda for Action)
refers to the goals for follow up -- four Chapters:
– I. Work done on implementing the Geneva Plan of Action,
– II and III. chapters on the WGIG and TFFM, and
– IV. “the Way Ahead”.
2
Reference to the work of the Partnership

A single paragraph in Chapter I of the Operational Part (“From
words to action: a Summit of sustainable solutions”)
The Geneva Plan of Action identifies international performance
evaluation and benchmarking, taking into account different
national circumstances, as an important aspect of the follow-up
and evaluation. We applaud the initiatives taken in this area,
including by those key stakeholders involved in the statistical
measurement of ICTs who have joined forces to create a global
Partnership on "Measuring ICT for Development". We
encourage national statistical offices to assist these efforts by
providing data and technical support.

commitment beyond Tunis. Ask for recognition in a
sentence to be inserted in Chapter IV “The Way
