VRIEND is a joint project of the Distributed & Embedded Systems
and Information Systems Research groups of the University of Twente,
Netherlands.

Try to conduct an analysis of arbitrary system of interacting entities
and show that this unreduced interaction process possess high
efficiency
Design and the implementation of a service-oriented middleware
platform capable of ensuring environmental context awareness and of
exposing delay-tolerant asynchronous communications.
Develop a complete system architecture integrated with middleware
platform for network Service Level Agreement management and interdomain network service provisioning.
Try to build up a service platform and integrated trusted framework
with self organization, self management and in a self controlled way
by ensuring the superior operation properties and situation aware
service.
