Fraction - Ctrl + F
Radical - Ctrl + R
Exponent – (squared) Ctrl + H
Parentheses - Ctrl + 9
After using any of the above operations, you must use the right arrow key to get
out of the parentheses, fraction, radical, exponent before entering the next part of
the problem.
Units – To insert units such as degrees Fahrenheit, feet, etc. select insert from the
menu bar. Then choose unit name from the drop down menu. Next, you must
select the type of unit from the list on the left and then choose the unit you
want from the right hand list. Once you have chosen the unit you then click on
insert and the unit will be inserted after whatever you have typed.
Font size – To change the text to large print, you select tag from the menu bar.
Select Appearance from the drop down menu. Click on the font and then modify.
You can then select any size font you need from the list.
Emboss – to emboss, you save the file to a disk. Take it to the embosser and open
Duxbury. You open the file you want (language should be TEX). The file will open.
Translate the file and then emboss just like it was a Word file.
