Because of our increased participation as well as a significant improvement in our AP scores, we have been inducted into the Advanced Placement Hall of Fame Small class size with students enjoying an average class size of 18 students 93% of WHS graduates attend institutions of higher education  70% attend 4 year college  19% attend 2 year college  4% attend trade schools

Changes to the scheduling process…

 The process is the same as last year  Teachers will be making recommendations on Aspen only  Parents and students will view the recommendations on their Aspen account  A form (Electives Course Selection Sheet)will be used for electives choices and for parent and student signatures

Teachers enter course recommendations in Aspen

February 12

Grade level meetings with students

February 24 – March 3

Students complete electives selection forms and return to W3 teachers

February 24 – March 3

Parents accept recommendations in Aspen

March 2 - April 10

Guidance counselors meet with students to discuss selections.

Viewing teacher recommendations…

    Sign on to your student’s Aspen account to view the recommendations made by core academic course teachers Review teacher recommendations Click “Post” to confirm that you have viewed the recommendations Correspond with your counselor in the “Notes for counselor” box found below the recommendations. Counselors will discuss these concerns at individual scheduling meetings.

 Keep an eye out for the form that your students will receive on February 24  Complete the form with electives choices and sign  Return signed to W3 teachers before March 3  Counselors will meet with each student to discuss teacher recommendations and electives choices
