• ACS is an important part of the Army’s program to assist soldiers
and their families, and offers a variety of programs tailored
for families living on and off post. ACS is the place to go for help and
answers.

-Employee Assistance Program: designed to provide free, confidential services, to include;
screening to identify the employee's problem, short-term counseling and, when
appropriate, a referral to a facility or service (within or outside the Army) that can assist the
employee in resolving his or her problem(s).
-Substance Abuse Prevention Education: provides commanders, Unit Prevention Leaders
(UPLs), soldiers, DA civilians, contractors and family members the education and training
necessary to make informed decisions about alcohol and other drug use
-Substance Abuse Counseling: provides evaluation and treatment for Soldiers presenting
problems related to substance abuse.
-Suicide Prevention: designed to minimize
suicide behavior; thereby preserving mission
effectiveness through individual readiness for
Soldiers, their Families, and Department of
the Army civilians.

-Provides religious education, counseling, retreat programs,
suicide prevention training and referrals for specific needs to
Soldiers, Family Members, and DA Civilians.
-In case of emergency, the on-call Duty Chaplain may be
reached at 396-4357 after duty hours and on weekends and
holidays.

The Family Life Chaplains and pastoral team at the Watters Family
Life Center provide a variety of services to help you develop and
strengthen your most important relationships in life.
• The Family Life Center is a full-time family ministry center that is
staffed with specially trained personnel to provide theologically
based ministry to families with an emphasis on marriage and
family issues. The training and counseling provided is distinctively
pastoral.
