Conjugating –ere verbs
Now that you have learned the –ARE verb
family in Italian, you will learn the second
verb family of –ERE verbs.
The verbs that belong to this family have
one thing in common, they have an –ERE
ending on the infinitive of the verb.

Conjugating –ere verbs
To conjugate –ere verbs you drop the –ere
from the verb infinitive and add the –ere
endings to the stem:
