The Edge

Larry Mullen, Jr. U2 are a rock band formed in Dublin, Ireland.
The band consists of Bono (vocals and rhythm guitar), The Edge
(guitar, keyboards, and vocals), Adam Clayton (bass guitar), and
Larry Mullen, Jr. (drums and percussion).
• The band formed at secondary school in 1976 when the
members were teenagers with limited musical proficiency.
Within four years, they signed to Island Records and released
their debut album. By the mid-1980s, they had become a top
international act. They were more successful as a live act than
they were at selling records, until their 1987 album The Joshua
Tree, which, according to Rolling Stone, elevated the band's
stature "from heroes to superstars".
GREEN DAY
Green Day is an American rock trio formed in 1987. The band has
consisted of Billie Joe Armstrong (vocals, guitar), Mike Dirnt
(bass guitar, vocals), and Tré Cool (drums, percussion) for the
majority of its existence.
• Green Day was originally part of the punk rock scene at 924
Gilman Street in Berkeley, California. Its early releases for
independent record label Lookout! Records earned them a
grassroots fanbase, some of whom felt alienated when the
band signed to a major label.Nevertheless, its major label
debut Dookie (1994) became a breakout success and
eventually sold over 10 million copies in the U.S. and 15 million
worldwide.As a result, Green Day was widely credited,
alongside fellow California punk bands The Offspring and
Rancid, with reviving mainstream interest in and popularizing
punk rock in the United States.
Michael Joseph Jackson (August 29, 1958 – June 25, 2009),
known as the King of Pop, was an American musician and one
of the most commercially successful and influential entertainers
of all time. His unique contributions to music and dance, along
with a highly publicized personal life, made him a prominent
figure in popular culture for over four decades.
Alongside his brothers, he made his debut in 1964 as lead
singer and youngest member of The Jackson 5, and began a
successful solo career in 1971. His 1982 album Thriller remains
the best-selling album of all time, with Off the Wall (1979), Bad
(1987), Dangerous (1991), and HIStory (1995) among the best
selling.
