The Problem Businesses Face Today...
Rising Energy Costs, Pollution and Global Warming
•Rising energy costs are having a dramatic effect on business and
consumer spending
--Petroleum and Natural gas account for 19% of U.S. electricity generation
•Heating and Air Conditioning are responsible for emitting 150m tons of CO2
into the atmosphere each year, adding to Global Climate Change.
•The 10 hottest years on record have occurred in the last 14 years.
According to Con-Edison Energy….
• When
thermostat is set at 78 degrees, air conditioning accounts for
56% of an average electric bill
*at 75 degrees… 74% of an average electric bill
*at 72 degrees… 95% of an average electric bill

Cool-N-Save™ Powered by Cloudburst® is a
self-actuating, water-based cooling system
for commercial AC condensers.

• How Does it work?
The system works on the theory of
adiabatic or “flash” evaporation, where
microscopic water particles surround the
condenser unit and absorb heat, lowering
the ambient temperature by 20 to 30
degrees, resulting in substantial energy
cost savings and a dramatic drop in head
pressure, extending the life of the
condenser unit.

The Competitive Advantage- Our Water Treatment Filter
• During the product development phase, our design team addressed
the possibility of scaling on air conditioner condenser fins and coils.
Scaling can occur when high levels of calcium are present in the
water supply, causing calcium carbonate molecules to attach to a
surface. These tiny crystals will continue to grow until treated, or
scale will form.
• To combat this problem our design team enlisted the help of some of
the nation’s foremost experts in water treatment technology to
develop our water treatment filter. In addition to filtering out common
sediment, the polyacrylate chemical used in the Cool-N-Save™
water treatment filter combines with scale forming molecules and
distorts their geometry, preventing them from attaching to one
another. The inhibited calcium molecules are dispersed through
water and washed away, preventing them from adhering to the air
conditioner’s heat transfer surface.

• Test Data/ Results
A number of tests have been performed with
dramatic results. Amp draw, surrounding ambient
temperature, exhaust air temperature and
compressor head-pressure are measured
simultaneously.
Average Test Results:
– Amp draw reduction- 21%
– Condenser ambient temperature reduction- 28
degrees
– Exhaust air temperature reduction- 12 degrees
– Compressor head pressure reduction- 25%

Scientific Conclusions:
Tulane University:
“…By using the Cool-n-Save™ system, even in a climate that endures high humidity, the heat
transfer from the refrigerant to the air is substantially increased."
"This effect implies that cooler air will be able to circulate throughout a house and this will
decrease the time the condenser unit runs, thus reducing electricity cost to the user."
Lee Vormelker Plan B Logistics, BSEE, MBA:
“… A system test on 9/15/2007 concluded both an instant and a sustainable 24.6% reduction
in energy consumption.”
