4.1. Transport via Marseille

4th March, 13.00h – trucks meet in port of Marseille (17.00h: sail away)

5th March, 16.00h - Port of Tunis (arrive at 12 o’clock) customs, change
money, etc. (until 18.00h) + 570 km driving to Libyan border
•
6th March, 7.00h – Ras Ajdir: leave Tunisia, enter Libya + 400 km
•
7th March, 9.00h – Gariyat – Sebha (400 km) + relax!
•
8th March: set-up Sebha bivouac

6th March, 12.00h Port of Genova (sail away at 16.00h)

Bring your passport & car documents to your cabin for on-board formalities
•
7th March - 16h arrival in Tunis & formalities + 570km
•
8th March: border crossing at 7AM (together) + to Gariyat (400km)
•
9th March: 400 km – arrival at 12AM in Sebha

By e-mail you receive a visa document (2 days before departure)

Flight Afriqiyah 12.30h on 8th March (visa outprint)

In Tripoli: queuing + get visa stamp

Recuperate luggage + find LR representative

Around 18.00h: new check-in for Sebha-flight (tickets, snack)
•
At 19.00h or 20.00h: private flight to Sebha
•
21.00h: arrival at bivouac

Organisation: arrive empty in Tunis, Ras Ajdir (100km) & Sebha

In Sebha: fill up everything (full tank) + 2 jerrycans

Outsourced to Libyan team / voucher system

Every 130 km fuel supply on the track (CP)
•
In camp: fuel truck with diesel & petrol / on track: petrol only
•
Fill up at night, not in the morning (Participants come first)
•
For way back: leave Sebha & Libya with full tanks
