What is Hyperion
• Oracle Hyperion Financial Management
– Web-based application that delivers global financial
consolidation, reporting and analysis in a single,
highly scalable software solution

Why Hyperion
The initial deployment of Hyperion will aid in the following:
• Enhance budget development and reporting/analysis
capabilities
• Streamline salary conversion process
• Systematically track allocation changes during the year
(E&G and Non-E&G)

Project Overview
Hyperion will aid in the Implementation of a
budget and reporting system that will support the
development and review of departmental
generated budgets.

• Maintain FSU’s strategic institutional advantage through
effective management of funds and alignment of resources
• Encourage the accountability that exists for proactively
managing plans to maximize use of institutional funds
• Enforce a consistent level of detail across all data elements to
provide transparency and accuracy
• Support improved process with enabling technology
