The idea is that
pupils work on the
lower end of
blooms. This
encourages
comprehension
skills, which will
result in them being
able to use the
higher end of
blooms.

Pupils must write in the
word. This gets them use
to seeing a word. Spelling
it out.
It introduces the word to
the pupil. This pupil may
not understand it, but he
has heard it.
He has seen the letters
the word makes up.
This is the first step to
learning.
