ADJECTIVES ENDING IN
-ED AND -ING
a) Sonu -ed, -ing ile biten pek çok sıfatlarlar
vardır. Örneğin; interesting, interested, boring,
bored gibi. Sonu -ed ile biten sıfatlar insanlar için
kullanılır ve insanların içlerinde hissettikleridir.
- I am interested. (İlgiliyim, ilgi duyuyorum.)
- She is bored. (onun canı sıkkın.)
- They are surprised. (Onlar şaşkın.)
b) Sonu -ing ile biten sıfatlar ise hem insanlar
hem de nesneler için kullanılabilir. Genelde
bizim dışarıdan algıladıklarımızdır.
- Her job is very interesting. (Onun işi çok ilginç.)
- She is a very boring person. (O çok sıkıcı bir
kişi.)
