WORKSHOP ON TEAM ORIENTED PROBLEM SOLVING (PSP)
FORD’s 8-Discipline Approach
Two Days
Purpose & Outcome
To develop capability to identify, analyse and find appropriate solutions leading to continuous
improvement in Quality of all business and manufacturing processes, using a team oriented
approach.
By the end of the course the participant would be able to
•
identify problems and plan for corrective action.
•
solve problems and avoid their recurrence.
•
systematically report the findings
•
work as an effective team member as well as a team leader.
Process
Through presentation, course and Case Studies. Participants would be provided:
• an overview of TQM and its co-relation with Concepts of Problem Solving Process.
• need for team approach
• the art and techniques of discovering problems
• use of QC tools and techniques for Problem Solving
• methodology of conducting meetings and presentation of reports.
• an opportunity to work in a team environment
Schedule : 0900 to 1700 hrs. (Both days)
Who Should Attend ?

TQM coordinators, Management Representatives and others responsible for planning
and ushering in the PSP culture and the Quality Systems approach (ISO 9000 series and
QS 9000) in the organization.
Members of Quality Improvement teams and others responsible for implementing PSP
techniques in the organization including workers.
