COURSE ON STATISTICAL PROCESS CONTROL (SPC)
Two Days
Purpose & Outcome
To provide confidence to the customers and obtain competitive advantage by continuous improvement of
process/product quality through application of statistical techniques.
By the end of the course, participants would be able to:
understand the importance of application statistical techniques
apply these techniques in process(es)
understand application and interpretation of control charts (Variable and Attribute type) for ensuring
improvement
evaluate process capabilities
understand techniques of root cause analysis (Check-sheet, Pareto and Cause & effect diagrams)
Process
Through presentation and interactive sessions, participants would be
• given an overview of statistical techniques as a means for minimizing the variability.
• provided an opportunity to learn and apply the statistical techniques for process/ product
improvement to reduce the cost of production
Schedule : 0900 to 1730 Hrs. (Day-I) 0900 to 1745 Hrs. (Day-II)
