What is a JLC?

These bodies examine conditions of employment, for example pay for certain categories of workers who are not in trade unions.

JLC (Joint Labour Committees) catering industries. – The LRC provides officers to chair JLC’s. Examples of JLC’s are; people in the hairdressing and Their recommendations are called Employment Regulation Orders (ERO’s)

What Is a JIC?

These bodies seek to establish harmonious industrial relations in certain industries and outline procedures to be followed in these industries to solve disputes before a strike occurs.

The Labour Relations Commission provides officers to chair JIC’s.
