A livelihoods committee (LC) at the village Organisation level
Follows agriculture centric micro-planning process
VO identifies and hires Village Resource Person (VRPs)
VRP handholds the poor & marginal farmers and reports to the
Livelihoods Committee
VRP monitoring & learning – VRP Register
Each VRP is responsible for an average 50 farmers
The payment of Service charge to VRPs is done by VO
Payment is based on category of farmers i.e. SC/ST, BC/EBC,
GC - Own land, leased land etc.

SC/ST HHs + Own Land = 30/- per HH per month

SERVICE CHARGE DESIGN OBJECTIVES
To cover more nos. of landless farmers who lease land &
improve productivity to attain food security & bringing more
land under the fold of SWI / SRI to improve productivity
