• Resolve the differences of both EMSF. Add
some subroutines and structures into the
ESMF of CCSM4 to simulate the functions of
the ESMF of WRF.

• Coupling WRF works fine.
• The performance of WRF in the full coupling
relates to the single WRF strongly.
• In this simulation, the coupling and the single
run aren’t very good in Northern high
latitude.

Benchmark and resource
• Benchmark(wr50a_ar9v2)

wall time: 3min / simulation time: 1hr
• Resource
32 CPU may be the minimum to run
wr50a_ar9v2. Tony suggested 64 CPU and
more are better to run wr50a_ar9v2 .
