TMP Research Update
Attacking Beta Amyloid
Toronto Memory Program is actively involved in antiamyloid immunotherapy trials including polyclonal
(IVIG), monoclonal (bapineuzamab, solenazamab,
ponezumab), and vaccine studies. Abeta accumulation in
Alzheimer’s disease leads to neuronal degeneration.
Immunotherapy reduces Abeta in the brain and holds
promise for clinically meaningful disease modification.
A variety of clinical trial opportunities are available for
those with Alzheimer’s disease, age 50+ and medically
stable. Participants gain access to promising treatments
as well as to specialist care and monitoring by an expert
team. Patients and families may contact us directly at
416-386-9606 or email us at
[email protected].
For more information on research opportunities, visit our
website at www.torontomemoryprogram.com.
