Log in to your Bookshare account and search for your textbook
using Bookshare’s “one-step search,” by typing in the ISBN in our
simple search field.
If textbook is available in the NIMAC, teacher can immediately
request Bookshare to retrieve book from NIMAC and convert it. We
will make the textbook student-ready and notify the teacher
through email.
Teacher can then download the textbook for the qualified student
and read using free reader software.
Average turnaround for NIMAC-sourced textbooks is 1 week or
less.

enabling Bookshare to track any unusual activity.

Monitors all book downloads and suspends any user whose account exhibits
unusual activity.
