Automatic Section Control
 EZ-Boom 2010 has two
main functions:
 Automated Boom Section control
 User definable from 1 to 10 sections
 Detects already sprayed areas and turns off boom
sections accordingly
 Sections can vary in width independently
 Rate Control
 Adjusts the flow control valve to achieve Target Rate
using:
 User defined Target Rate - can be a prescription when used
with the FieldManager Display
 Vehicle speed (GPS)
 Boom width (which varies as the sections get turned off/on)

Valve on latency – The time is takes to the system to start
spraying once it switched on.
Valve latency off – The time it takes for the system to stop
spraying once it is turned off.
Intension overlap – Metres or inches of overlap
