On 1 April 2005, RTIP
arrested a group of
major fraudulent
document producers,
4 Chinese PRC people
smugglers and 6
passengers. These
producers made
altered passports for
these Chinese PRC
travellers to go to a
third country.

Arrest of the counterfeit Passport Courier to London
On August 2, 2005, Maieddine
DAIKH was arrested at Don
Muang International Airport
after he arrived from Koh
Samui, Thailand. DAIKH was
in possession of 79 blank
counterfeit Spanish passports,
154 blank counterfeit Belgium
passports, 125 blank
counterfeit Portuguese
passports and 94 blank
counterfeit passports.
