IMPORTANT INITIATIVES FOR EASE OF DOING
BUSINESS

Madhya Pradesh Government has passed Madhya Pradesh
Investment Facilitation Act 2008, for simplifying the regulatory
frame work.

Combined Application Form is being designed to give
necessary clearances to the projects at initial stage.
-
Self Certification at the time of submission of Combined
Application Form.
-
Time limit for processing of applications is being prescribed.
Investor Friendly Administration
•
The Chief Minister chairs an Apex Committee for mega projects.
The committee has so far given clearances to 129 mega
projects worth approx Rs. 75971 Crore.
•
The Chief Secretary chairs the Project Clearance &
Implementation Board (PCIB) for speedy clearances of project
proposals & monitoring progress. PCIB has so far given
clearances to 122 project proposals worth approximately Rs.
182130/- Cr.

EARLY BIRD PROJECTS under
Pithampur-Dhar-Mhow Investment Region
 Economic Corridor :
A corridor between Indore Airport &
Pithampur on 22 km of length is being developed. Economic &
commercial activities are proposed to be setup up to 300 meters on
either side of the corridor.
 Knowledge City :
Knowledge city (Education Hub) on 419 Ha of
land is being developed at Ujjain. World class education institutes,
research centers, training centers in various discipline are proposed to
be set up in this Knowledge City.
 Water Management:
Improvement of Water Supply and Waste
Water Management in Pithampur Industrial Area.
 Integrated Multi- Modal Logistics Hub
is being developed
to meet the logistic demands of Indore & Pithampur at Pithampur on
176 Ha of land.
Early Bird Project
under Shajapur-Dewas Investment Node

Power Equipment Manufacturing Hub is proposed to be developed on
4000 acres and would be comprehensive in nature.

The site is located in western part of Madhya Pradesh in Distt. Rajgarh
and is well connected by Road (NH-3) and Railway.

No land acquisition and major R&R issues as the land is available at
one place and is in government possession.

Will encompass firms of all sizes and types engaged in various
manufacturing, testing with key support functions.
Other Proposed Projects (DMIC)
Water Supply from Narmada:

Proposed area of investment region is 370 sq km. Fresh
water demand anticipated at 530 MLD by year 2041, which
would be arranged from Narmada.
Commercial and Facility node in SEZ and Pithampur
Industrial Area:

Need of investment region to be met by creating commercial
and
other facilities in SEZ Indore non processing zone
and Pithampur Industrial area.
Incubation Park:

To facilitate research based innovations in manufacturing
sector and merge it with knowledge economy through
research and development initiatives.
