Goals of This Module

1. To develop awareness of the five essential components of a systematic problem solving process: Response To Intervention (RTI) and how they relate to national and state initiatives.

2. To consider and discuss with your colleagues what you already have in place that is a part of systemic problem solving process to effectively implement RTI. 3. To develop next steps for RTI in your school and district as part of your school improvement plan.

•Being data driven in an effort to help every student succeed •Making a commitment to do whatever it takes when they acquiring evidence that suggest particular students aren’t succeeding •Studying about and use best practice in their repertoire of daily teaching strategies •Examining curriculum, instruction and assessment across grade levels and subject areas to assure students’ continuous learning experiences.
