1. Author Alphabetical Search



material

alphabetically listed
Omit the use of stopwords
(eg.: the, a, an) at the
beginning of the title
2. Title Keyword
Search

Use this option when you
are unsure of the exact
title of the material
Results listed will consist
the keywords as entered
Advisable to omit the
stopwords (eg.: the, a, an)
in between the title

Subject Searches
1. Subject
Alphabetical Search

Use this option when you
know the exact entry of
the subject or know the
pre-defined "controlled
vocabulary"


Results are alphabetically
listed
For sub-subject, type
“- -” after the main
subject

Use this option when you
are unsure of the entry of
the subject
Results listed have all the
keywords in any of the
subjects in the record
Tips:


From the book record, you can find other books on the
same subject by clicking on the “Subjects”.
A book might discuss the subject you are looking for; even
though it does not have the keywords in the title (as
shown above).
Getting the Book from the Shelf
1. Copy the Call Number
2. Go to the Correct Level/Collection
For easy reference, range of call numbers is pasted on each stack.
For assistance, please approach the Information Desks.
