There are only a few chords in the
song
• Start by tuning the guitar to open D – notes from low to
high are D, A, D, F#, A, D
• Play the 4th string open and lower the 2nd string to a D,
do the same with the 6th string.
• Next lower the 2nd string to an A by playing the 5th string
open and lowering the 2nd string to one octave above the
A at the 5th string.
• Lastly lower the 3rd or G string to F# by matching it to the
4th string 4th fret!!!! Strum the open strings and you have
a D major chord. Pretty cool!!
• To play a G major chord just barre the 5th fret. For A
major the 7th fret.

open strings for D, 5th fret barre for G and
7th fret barre for A.
• Next add in the 6th chords. It would then
be 2 beats of each chord followed by 2
