• RCH supervisor assist facility staff on quality data
collection. Ensure registers, tally sheets and
summary forms are available and filled
appropriately
• During supervision facilitate data summary report
compilation for accuracy, completeness and timely
reporting to district/council
• At district/Regional levels RCHco are requested to
work with HMIS FP on data cleaning, supervise
data entry and validation
Massages/Recommendations…
• Ensure feed back report is send to councils/facilities
to encourage data quality utilization
• Mobilize implementing partners to support data
collection through HMIS (Financially, TAs on
planning, implementation assessing performances)
• Encourage RHMT/CHMT to discuss HMIS-DHIS2 data
report on weekly bases and facility to use HMIS data
for planning

• More than 70% had staff and guidelines for PMTCT

• Only 13% had the necessary equipment (auditory &
visual)
• 44% overall, had medicines and commodities
• Readiness for PMTCT services was in 55% of facilities
