light of the world
基督徒 被呼召为 世 上 的 光
Matthew (NIV)太5:14-16
14 “You
are the light of the world. A town built on a
hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do people light a
lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it
on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the
house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine
before others, that they may see your good deeds
and glorify your Father in heaven.
14 你 们 是 世 上 的 光 。 城 造 在 山 上 是 不 能
隐 藏 的 .15 人 点 灯 ， 不 放 在 斗 底 下 ， 是 放
在 灯 ? 上 ， 就 照 亮 一 家 的 人 。16 你 们 的 光
也当这样照在人前，叫他们看见你们的
好行为，便将荣耀归给你们在天上的父

There are many different lights in this world
在这世界有很多不同的光
• In China, the new Christian cult is called the
Eastern Light. The founder named herself
“the second Jesus”现在中国有一种异教名叫
东方闪电，创办人自称第二个耶稣
• A festival of light is found in Buddhism and
Hinduism respectively.
佛教和印度教都有开光节·
• What about Christianity?基督教又如何？
• Jesus said, “While I am in the world, I am the
light of the world.”
• 耶稣说：“我 在 世 上 的 时 候 ， 是 世 上
的 光 。”(John 约翰福音9:5)
• Our church is named House of the True Light.
Why?我们的礼拜堂命名真光堂， 为什么？
John约 翰 福 音1:1-5,9
Apostle John said, “ In the beginning was the
Word, and the Word was with God, and the
Word was God. 2 He was with God in the
beginning. 3 Through him all things were made;
without him nothing was made that has been
made. 1太 初 有 道 ， 道 与 神 同 在 ， 道 就
是 神 。2 这 道 太 初 与 神 同 在 。3 万 物 是
藉着他造的；凡被造的，没有一样不
是 藉 着 他 造 的.
• In him (Jesus) was life, and that life was the
light of all mankind. 5 The light shines in the
darkness, and the darkness has not overcome
it.” 9 The true light (Jesus) that gives light to
everyone was coming into the world. 4 生 命
在 他 里 头 ， 这 生 命 就 是 人 的 光 。5 光
照 在 黑 暗 里 ， 黑 暗 却 不 接 受 光 。9那
光 (耶稣）是 真 光 ，照 亮 一 切 生 在 世 上
的人。
• Jesus is the true light. You see Jesus. You see
God. “9 The true light (Jesus) that gives light
to everyone was coming into the world.
• 9 那 光 (耶稣）是 真 光 ，照 亮 一 切 生 在
世 上 的 人” (John 约 1:9)
• We are called to shine forth the light of Jesus.
我们被呼召作耶稣的光，去照亮世界。
• We are to bear witness for Jesus我们要为耶
稣作见证。
How to shine? 如何照亮
• For the atheist, we must first talk about the
existence of God, the creator God.面对无神
论者的时候，我们第一必须告诉他们神的
存在，一位创造天地万物的神。
• Then, we have show them Jesus is the very
God from heaven.然后，我们必须告诉他们
耶稣是从天下来的神。
• He is both God and Man. 衪是神，又是人。

• When we use the term god, we must define
the word ‘god’ because there are many
concepts. 当我们谈到神， 我们要对神下个
定义，因为世人看神有许多不同的看法。
• Every language has a word for god. But it has
different understandings. 每个语言对神有不
同的看法。

The word “god” does not refer to any specific
god. From the context, we know the specific
god. 这个字神有不同的意思，我们要看请

When we introduce the Christian God, we must
stress that our God is the Creator of all things.
当我们介绍我们基督教的神，我们一定要讲清
祂是创造天地一切东西的神
He is one in 3 persons, namely Father, Son & the
Holy Spirit.
祂是三位（圣父，圣子，圣灵）一体的真神
• Besides speaking the truth, you must lead a
good Christian life. 同时你要过一个圣洁的生活
Where to shine在那里照亮
• 5 The light (Jesus) shines in the darkness, and
the darkness has not overcome it.” 9 The true
light (Jesus) that gives light to everyone was
coming into the world.
• 5光 照 在 黑 暗 里 ， 黑 暗 却 不 接 受 光 。
9 那 光 (耶稣）是 真 光 ，照 亮 一 切 生 在
世上的人。
Spiritual darkness (not physical darkness)
A person who doesn’t known & hasn’t
accepted Jesus is walking in darkness.
属灵的黑暗
一个人还没认识上帝和接受主耶稣是在黑暗
中行走
• They may be your friends, relatives,
neighbors, colleagues at work and many
others
