The Law Faculty is acknowledged both nationally and internationally as a leader in tertiary legal education in Thailand. For fifty years, the Faculty of Law had produced a large number of highly qualified judges, prosecutors and lawyers. Overseas Research Trip

In March or April of each year, the Program organizes an all-inclusive overseas research trip of 1 to 2 weeks to visit partner institutions in either Canada or Japan. The cost of the overseas research trip is included in the full tuition price; however students may elect upon initial enrolment into the program not to participate in this trip, in which case the tuition will be reduced accordingly

Entry Requirements

Applicants must possess a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) or other recognized first degree in law. For non-native speakers of English, all applicants who are accepted into the Program with a TOEFL or CUTEP (Chulalongkorn University Test of English Proficiency) score under 550 (or IELTS 6.0) are required to attend a preliminary Introduction to Legal English course be taken on a pass/fail non-credit basis. An additional fee is charged for this special course.

Tuition Fee

The tuition fee for the one-year Program, inclusive of the Overseas Research Trip and all course materials, is 474,000 Thai baht. It is payable in three equal instalments in May, September, and January. The tuition fee for students electing not to take the Overseas Research Trip is 393,000 Thai baht. All prices are subject to change per academic year.

Application Package

The application package can be obtained from the Office of the LL.M. Business Law (International) Program and costs 1,000 THB.

Applicants for the regular first term will be called for an interview in March of each year. Second term applicants are interviewed in early September. For those applicants unable to attend an interview in person at Chulalongkorn University, a telephone interview may be arranged.
