GIS Updates
March 1 will launch new Community Development Website Intended to help Community Development better assess how to best distribute redevelopment funding.
Will provide access to Census Data and Census Mapping & Zoning layers online. Can also link to your Zoning ordinance if you have it available online.
ArcGIS Upgrade
County will be upgrading the GIS software we use from ArcGIS 9.1 to 9.2
Will be completed by Feb 27 New Parcel files will be available to LUGs by March 1 then again after BOR If you use ArcGIS – let us know.

Purpose of this Contest T
o solicit photographs that represents Washtenaw County landmarks to be showcased in Washtenaw County buildings and publications, and to highlight and promote local talent.
A few specifics…
Photos for the the contest must be taken and electronically submitted from March of 2007 to March of 2008 Anyone may submit , including Washtenaw County employees.
Top 50 entrants will be honored. Top 10 entrants will receive a $50.00 gift certificate and a framed copy of the submitted print will go to Washtenaw County, the entrant and the landmark jurisdiction.
