Transcript Duxbury High School Scholarship Process

Class of 2014
How does it Work?
 Local Scholarships will be listed in Naviance under College Tab, Scholarship
List. As scholarship information comes in, applications will be posted in
Naviance. Check the list weekly for updates.
 There are two types of applications. 1. Common Local Scholarship Application,
which you fill out once, attach documents, and then copy the completed packet
for as many scholarships that utilize the Common Local Scholarship
Application or 2. Custom Scholarship Application, which as it implies, is
unique to that organization.
 To be considered for need based scholarships you must submit the SAR of the
FAFSA this is printed after you file your FAFSA.
 Adhering to all deadlines is crucial!
 Don’t just assume you won’t get something
All Applications
 Will be listed in Naviance, Custom Applications can be
downloaded from their info page, and the Common Local
Scholarship Application is linked on the main page of
Family Connection or the KRHS Guidance Website
 Completed applications must be sent directly to
organization awarding scholarship. Very few may be
returned to KRHS. Pay attention to directions on Naviance.
 Application must be completed. Don’t forget to attach
requested documents. (You may copy your teacher college
recommendations for your scholarship applications.)
Important Notes

left side link “Request Transcripts”, Click on
Scholarships. (Allow 48 hours for guidance to prepare)
