2014 ELLA LAW SCHOOL VISITS &
J. RUEBEN CLARK LAW SOCIETY
CONFERENCE
ELLA GRANT 2014
-Eileen Doyle Crane, J.D., University Prelaw Advisor, applied for
an ELLA Grant to take two UVU students to Missouri,
Kansas, Iowa, and Nebraska, where they were able to visit
8 different law schools and attended the 11th Annual
JRCLS Conference at The University OF Missouri School
of Law Center
-Students met with deans, went on school tours, and compiled data
from each school
-Students networked with current law students and attorneys from
around the U.S. and world
-Students were also able to attend a few different sections of law
practices of their choice that were given by various lawyers and
professors.

-Offers students 12 clinics and 6 externships including programs in New York and DC, the
American Indian Law, and the Africa and Asia externship.
-As of 2013, 92 percent of graduates were employed
-WashULaw is the oldest private law school West of the Mississippi.
-Half of all first year classes are kept to about 45 students with some of the smallest class sizes in
law school.
-Great scholarships and financial aid available.
