 Midsize Pilot
 Urban pilot
Rural Pilot
•
•
•
•
Black River Falls Hospital and UW Eau Claire
Distributed readiness survey to nurses Spring 2014
Shared results of survey to nurses May 2014
Working with UW Eau Claire to encourage nurses to
return for BSN
• Time and cost major barriers
• Next steps creating structure to address barriers
Midsize Pilot
•
•
•
•
•
Bellin Health and Bellin College
Survey distributed to nurses
54% BSN or higher over 900 nurses
39% return rate from diploma and ADN nurses
Working with Mary Mancini to develop efficient and
relevant program
• Collaborating with Nurses Leaders from health
system to define course coursework
• CNO and president defining costs and financial
incentives

• Urban Initiative – UWM
• Beginning spring 2013, Sally Lundeen and
Doris Schoneman collaborated with Desi
Levy and Nancy Vrabec of MATC to
further ensure smooth transition for the
ADN to BSN.
