Chilli :
Chilli is common and most popular spice and it is grown every
where. Every farmer does not come forward for plantation crop.
Small and marginal farmers belonging to SC/ST farmers category
are showing lot of interest in Chilli crop.
Chilli produce processing is very common in Cottage
Industries. A large number of self-help groups are making Chilli
powder and getting substantial employment opportunities.
Gramodhyog Department of Madhya Pradesh is
encouraging marketing of chilli, coriander, garlic paste, turmeric &
ginger powder with collaboration of Hindustan Lever ltd. These
processed products are branded as Vindhya Valley.
