Care for Carers
 Carers have no monitoring equipment installed
 We asked Novalarm to adapt UMO to help with:
 Storing records for pre-registered informal carers
 Contact via telephone
 24/7 Response & personal care
 Support Plans
 Reporting
Visits Registration
 We wanted to log visits made to clients home
 We asked Novalarm to develop module for UMO:
 Easy to use – simple telephone call
 Confirms carers attendance
 Confirms length of care visit
 Can confirm the type of visit
 Timesheet for carer
 Log of calls per client
Training
 We wanted to make staff training easier
 We talked to Novalarm :
 TSA – Thou shalt monitor six calls per operator per
month......
 Built-in voice recording attached to call record
 Operators can access own call recordings… instantly
 Managers access all calls
 Separate training database – training does not affect
main system stats or client records
Procedures on screen
UMO was adapted to show related procedures onscreen:
Mobilising Responders
We use UMO to track responders arrival and sign out
Rotas onscreen
We now show our mobile response rotas onscreen:
